Overview

In this Setup Article, we will set up a Day Camp that sells Drop-In Days. Put differently, the Day Camp offers By-the-Day Reservations.

FunJoin makes simultaneously providing By-the-Day and By-the-Week options streamlined, simple, and easy.

This Article assumes you have already setup your Weekly Programs.

Other Articles will cover setting up other options for your Day Camp like half days and more.

πŸ’‘Setup Example & Story

STEAM Camps LLC has recently joined FunJoin and is ready to set up their Museum Camp, a STEAM-focused summer camp for children. The camp operates for 10 weeks each summer, offering weekly programs at $400 per week. Campers attend from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

In addition to these weekly programs, they want to provide the option to book individual days of camp for $100 per day.
​
To provide services through FunJoin, Mesuem Camp will add the Session option to their Offering and create a Session Credit.


Edit Offering

First, you will need to edit your Offering to add an option for Sessions.

You can do this during the initial FUNBOX Setup, by editing the FUNBOX at any time.
​
Sessions are used for "Single-Ticket" purchases. You should use Sessions when you need people to register for a single day.

πŸ”” Reminder

You do not need to create a separate Offering for your Drop-In Days. You can use the same Offering, just add an option for Sessions.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open FunBox Setup (Either during initial Setup or by Editing FUNBOX)

  2. Click "2. Offerings" Tab

  3. Click Edit Button (Pencil) next to "Programs"

  4. Click "Both"

  5. Click "Save & Next" or "Save Changes" Button


Create Payment

Now that you have added the Session option to your Offerings, it is time to add a Session Credit.

In FunJoin, Customers purchase their Reservations through Credits.

πŸ”Ž Getting to Know: Credits

Name: Give your Credit Type its own unique name. We recommend short, specific, and understandable names.

Description: Add details about what this Session Credit can be used for. This will be displayed in the Customer Hub "Credits and Packages" Page.
​

Base Price: Insert the price of this Credit. This is the price Customers will pay for the Session.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open "3. Payments" Tab

  2. Click "+ Payment Option" Button

  3. Click "+ Create New" Button

  4. In "Create New Session Credit Type" Window:

    1. Insert name in Name Text Field

    2. Insert Description in Description Text Field

    3. Insert Base Price in Base Price Currency Field

    4. Click "Create Session Credit Type" Button

  5. Click "Save & Next" or "Save Changes" Button


Next Steps

If you have not published yet, continue with the Day Camps FUNBOX Setup.

If you are just editing an existing FUNBOX, all you need to do is click "Save Changes."
