Fee Types

Sign Up Fee

This fee is a set amount collected when Participants make a Reservation. This fee is separate from the cost of the Reservations.

Reminder

Currently, FunJoin only allows Sign Up Fees that are Collected By Participant, Every Year. (Only Annual Sign Up Fees)

Getting to Know Sign Up Fees

Collected By Participant: Every Participant will need to pay this Fee.

Collected Every Year: This Sign Up Fee will need to be paid exactly once a year.

Full Program Only: If Set, the Sign Up Fee will not apply to Participants that purchase single Sessions.

Activation Date: Sign Up Fee will only be applied to Sessions that occur after the Activation Date.

Purchase Fee

This is an additional charge on transactions collected through Stripe. Purchase Fees can be a percentage of the Transaction Total or a set amount. Purchase Fees apply to all transactions and cannot be tied to specific Offerings.

Elite Operator Tip

You can use Purchase Fees to recoup the Transactional Fees associated with FunJoin or Stripe Payment Processing.

Steps (Add Sign Up Fee):

  1. Click "Settings" in Top Menu Bar

  2. Click on Payment Tab

  3. Click on Fees Sub Tab

  4. Click "+ Create Fee" Button

  5. Set Slider to "Sign Up Fee"

  6. Add Fee Name to Name Textbox

  7. Select Per Participant from Collected Dropdown

  8. Select Every Year from Frequency Dropdown

  9. Enter Fee Amount into Amount Currency Textbox

  10. Select Offerings from Usable for Offerings Dropdown

  11. Set Full Program Only Checkbox

  12. Select Date from Activation Date Calendar

  13. Add Fee Description in Description Textbox

  14. Click "Create" Button


Steps (Add Purchase Fee):

  1. Click "Settings" in Top Menu Bar

  2. Click on Payment Tab

  3. Click on Fees Sub Tab

  4. Click "+ Create Fee" Button

  5. Set Slider to "Purchase Fee"

  6. Add Fee Name to to Name Textbox

  7. Select "All Stripe Payments" from Collected Dropdown

  8. Select % or $ from Amount Slider

  9. Enter Fee Amount or Fee Percentage to Amount Currency Textbox

  10. Enter Fee Description to Description Textbox

  11. Click "Create" Button
